It depends on what you are quitting. I lived with my mom for 2 years after leaving the military. She was verbally abusive and it was killing me to watch her destroy herself and to argue with her. Finally, I just left. It helped both of us. Quitting a toxic situation or habit that is bad for your health or well being is good. Quitting is only for losers if you are giving up just because a goal is too difficult or you are lazy.

Smart people know when it makes sense to quit and move on. Some things can't be salvaged, but people often continue to invest - time, effort, money, emotions - in hopeless causes, and frankly, that's just stupid.
Most tasks can be accomplished with enough time, effort, money, and skill, but people, and situations involving people, are much more difficult, and often impossible.
You have to pick your battles...
It depends on what you are quitting. Quitting an abusive relationship is wise. Quitting a job because you don't like someone you work with is another story.

I think it can be a smart choice. We are limited in the amount of time we have in our life and contrary to popular belief we aren't all capable of anything we set our minds to so knowing when to count your losses and give up on something you are wasting your time on in favor of something else that you might actually be able to achieve can be a valuable skill.
well i was interested in architecture and i quit because i read that you need calculus and i hate math so i gave up but now i have a another career i want to start and that im passionate about, i never wouldve found it if i didn't quit the architecture
I don't care either way, I follow my heart. Quitting can both be a sign of lack of perseverance or a sign of adaptability. If you never quit, you never adapt and those who never adapt are bound to perish. Ultimately, I think it's just a matter of perspective and opinion so I would just say follow your heart, what YOU feel is right.
It is clearly C. Quitting a good thing because you do not want to put in the effort would be for a loser. Quitting self-destructive behavior would be for a winner.
