I learned to drive at 19 and even at that age I felt so old learning that late considering I was already married and had a baby but it was definitely worth it since I drive everyday now.

+1 yTo some sex is more important than being able to drive where you need or want to be. Id rather prioritize getting things done because nowadays a car can be the tool to get your career or business success. It takes more precious time to get anywhere without being able to drive. If you arnt wasting time its not bad. If you could do more with the extra time and productivity to become better, its bad. Only thing that matters is what you're motivated to do and nobody can tell you but yourself

I wish you lived near me. I could train you how to drive and stay alive.11 Reply

+1 yNot at all. I know people well into their 40s that don’t drive. It’s really about whether younger it or not depending on where you live. I got my license pretty early but I didn’t drive much until I was 21 when my commute was next to impossible with transit.
The perk with having a license is that even if you live in a mega city, you can rent a car for a weekend and go somewhere quiet or a place not easily accessible with transit.00 Reply

+1 yIf public transport is developed where you live, that's fine. I got my driving license when I came of age and I love driving. However, there is a lot of traffic in the city where I live and public transportation is developed. That's why it doesn't make sense to drive a car.
10 ReplyA lot of people don’t know how to drive but it’s definitely an essential life skill. Honestly once you get the hang of it and have your own car life is so much better. You can go wherever whenever. I couldn’t live without my car.
Also I know it looks scary but it’s not scary and not difficult at alllll. Just learn to drive automatic if you want.10 Reply
+1 yLol, neither do I and I'm 25.
I've never really had an interest and I stilt don't, as much as I think it will come in handy.

Anonymous(25-29)+1 yNo, it's never too late to learn.. My aunt learned for the first time when she was almost 50 (I was 14 or so living with her).
She had lived in big cities all of her life and taken buses or cabs locally and flown when traveling long distance.
She adopted my sister and I, moved to the suburbs, and despite living on the direct bus line really needed a car for outside the city.00 Reply
+1 ydepends, If you're lucky enough to live by a train station or work at local stores/fast food places. that's how I been doing it, I haven't learned to drive because of a near-death experience I had trying to learn to drive. Almost killed my brother and me, I get PTSD whenever I get on the wheel. I need to overcome it one day but not today.

My father calls me mentally retarded because he expected me to get my driving license at 18 years old.
But given the fact that public transports can bring me anywhere I want and the fact that, even if I get this driving license, he will still monitor me like an overprotective father he always is, I really don't care nor want to drive.01 Reply- +1 y
I guess when he said drive , you got in back seat
+1 yDepends on where you live, you’re still very young tho so don’t stress it
10 ReplyNah, it's fine. Where I'm from (Philly), nobody drived unless they were wealthy. People jyst took the subways everywhere.
