Car experts, how do I fix this problem?

With all things elecronic which start to malfunction, the initial step should be to turn them off and then restart them. In this case, that would involve disconnecting the cable to the positive post of the car battery and leaving it disconnected for about 30 seconds, then reconnecting the battery. That may not fix the problem but there is no cost in trying that potential fix.
look it up on the google, first you have to find the damn thing, then figure out how to get at it.
It could even be a bad wire and not the sensor.
It might not work, but disconnect the negative terminal from your battery, and wait a minute or so and put it back on and tighten it. Usually, it takes a 10mm wrench.
It will perform a reset.
Otherwise, a trip to a repair shop is in your future.
Most modern cars throw codes when a sensor is activated. Most repair shops have the machine that can read the codes. Also you can buy a code reader online through Amazon.

That light is connected to the whole airbag system as well, probably a faulty sensor somewhere and honestly it’s impossible to diagnose without hooking up a scanner that can read what tripped the light
Is there anything quick to try, I would rather not go to a mechanic as they might charge a lot when it's something simple
Like olderandwiser said you could try disconnecting the battery for a bit to see if the ecu forgets the code, but that’s about it
Because there is more than one sensor in that system, the dealership is probably the only one that can fix it since most scan tools don’t read that part of the system. Did you check the switch in the actual safety belt clasp?
No, where is the switch located? Is there any spray or anything I can use
The switch inside the buckle release, maybe electronic tuner cleaner spray if that’s the problem
Woul I just spray it inside the buckle?
You could try if you can see it but it’s not a guarantee, it can be many things that need to be checked but I guess you could try cheap fixes first before going to the dealership
Cheers I'm going to try right now. Just at the shop
Hope you have some luck with it otherwise it’s off to the dealer
You have to figure out why the sensor is on and fix the issue
