Well it depends: do you look the same as you do when you were younger? No lying about your weight, hair loss, height, or anything else in the process...

If so? Then YES, it's catfishing, or rather misleading the other person. Just be upfront like the rest of us, so people can see what they're getting: be it good or bad. Otherwise, they might be disappointed or upset you misled them when they want to meet you.

Sure! I rather you be upfront from the getgo, and worse case, us be friends, than lie about your appearance, only to disappoint me later- then I won't like or respect you. Not to mention the trust won't be there.

If you're saying that's how you look now when you don't, it's at the least misleading if not outright being dishonest... Why not just be honest about putting on a little weight... Weight put on can be taken back off...
