What is your definition of racism? ?

I ask because many people would call me "white".

In the winter I am pale, grey-eyed, etc. But my ancestry is predominantly North African. For those that don't know it's nothing unique, the Kabyle of North Africa as an example are European looking including being sandy blonde & green-eyed even.

In the summer I tan. I don't burn. And I tan reasonably. Not as dark as my father or brother who have had Americans in Florida as example refer to them as mulatto, etc.

Would such Americans not be called racist because half the time we look "white".

To me it is better phrased as a test of assumptions. Specifically, I like to ask:
Why do you think the median income for black people is less than the median income for white people?
If the answer is any iteration of "there is something wrong with black people," that's a racist. Anything else is not racist.

Thanks to the Dems, the term "racist" means nothing anymore. Like your explanation. That's not even close to racism.

Racism: The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.

I think it's a bias in ones judgement based upon a superficial characteristic.

The answer is in the eye of the beholder and how they perceive.
