I regret not studying harder in school. I regret not going to university. I regret not working hard enough to stay in one job. I regret not saving. I regret being to weak to stand up for myself. But I don't regret my abortion, one of the hardest things I have ever faced but I know now I was not ready to be a mother. No job, no money, debt, not in a stable relationship etc. I was not able to carry full term because I am ill with an eating disorder which I still have now. It has been thr only correct thing I have done in my pathetic life.
Sounds like you hadsome traumas in early life and lacked good parental support which propagated into other areas. You’ve been through a lot of grief and stress, good to be gentle on yourself as you now see. Take all that trauma and turn it into strength so you can have an awesome remaining 3/4 life.
I moved out on my own at 20 @@paris13
Quiting my $135,000.00 annual salary job, leaving Virginia, divorcing my wife, and moving to California and taking a $50,000.00 year job working in the National Park Service and starting 100% over from scratch.
No regrets!
I once contemplated that adventure. Great healing in that serenity
Coming clean with my gender bending cross dressing habit.
May not be a big deal to many, but to me I was always living in guilt and hatred within myself for it.
It took my wife to get me to see it
Me being what is called a "mans man" laid heavily on my guilt.
I still do all the stuff man should do. Like take care of wife, family, kill bugs, fix busted cars, fix shit around the house, wear facial hair.
I just do it wearing clothes of another gender. 90% people on the street can't even tell I crossdress, even when I stand in front of them
Not a fetish anymore, my new sexual fetish is with a 1965 Buick Wildcat that's red with a rag top
wax-a on- wax-a off!

I have absolutely no regrets about pursuing a career as an attorney.
You're a very good one!
@Jamie05rhs I appreciate your kind words.
You're very welcome!
I have only one living regret. It’s the result of a series of unfortunate circumstances along with bad decisions on my part, not just a single decision.
Regret is an anchor. If you want to move forward, you have to let it go or store it smartly. Even if you can store it smartly, you can’t carry too many. They’ll slow you down, stop you entirely or sink you if you’re not careful.
Ever since getting fired for saying a popular feminist mantra too loudly at the hospital I used to work at, I’ve gotten a higher paying job, more productive inroads to the career I actually want, I was able to buy my current vehicle instead of leasing it, and working at night gives me an opportunity to go to my children’s medical appointments to make sure that their doctor doesn’t medically assault them with any vaccines either.
I met somebody and within days I knew we would be married. It happened really fast and maybe I did not put as much thought into it as I should have but I never regretted it.
Coming to teach in South Korea, even though it's been hard at times and I'm still lonely here. There is NOTHING left for me back in that toilet of a city, Philadelphia, and I never want to go back there again.
Well there are no regrets about dropping my plans to be a game designer. It most likely would have been a waste of my life and i be highly depressed. Also my game getting leaked by some little shi over the internet? Yeah, it's not fun times.
Leaving Iraq. All the money we spent, the stress, the running we had to do and illegal documents we got to get to Sweden is all worth. Never looked back, never had regrets and never will about it.
What about you?
Ordering the 'Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno' at Olive Garden EVERY TIME I go... I stick to my mozzarella, shredded, cheese-covered guns.
Ending my long term toxic relationship that affected my mental health really badly.. I'm honestly so proud of myself for making such wise and big decision..!

Nah, I always seem to regret my decisions, the best things in my life have happened to me, mostly jobs I just fell into instead of trying hard to get.
Leaving my country (and culture) of birth, Paris.
@andreasderjuengere...(if you moved to the USA, this applies)
Why would you ever leave France for the USA, I mean, seriously.
(2 reasons that I would never leave Paris:
1. French Girls
2. North African Girls
3. Noirette Love.
Not necessarily in that order.)
@HighlyQuestionable - Oops, here we have an ''internal'' misunderstanding: As usual, I addressed our user ''Paris'' directly :)
I partly agree with your views on France, although I'm more into the southern areas.
Myself - I was born in Germany, and went to SE Asia 19 years ago. For work; not to waste my income on whores :D
@andreasderjuengere,
For my part, I was not thinking of "whores".
I meant the sorts of Women I find physically/intellectually/culturally attractive.
"Noirette" here refers to Black Hair Color, relatively uncommon in USA, but oddly much more common in most French-speaking (or culturally Franco-) areas. Areas such as North Africa and Quebec.
Not killing my ex-sisters when I had the chance.
I made the decision at age 11 to save my virginity for my wife, and I still have zero regrets!

Sorry; I mean @clampfan101.
@Jamie05rhs I was raised into it as a child, but it was still my choice and still the most impactful.
@Jamie05rhs I’m referring to deciding to believe. Not leaving another belief behind in the process.
