The correct answer is ADRIATIC SEA, which is an arm of the Mediterranean Sea between Italy and the Balkan countries.

The Baltic Sea is small but supposedly very salty, and it doesn't border too many countries.

Baltic Sea is very shallow actually. Max depth is 450 m.
