Have You Had A Very Weird Birthday?

I wrote my birth date wrong when registering on this site, but I was born on February 6, 2004 in Gaziantep, Turkey. I don't know why, but February has been tough for the past few years. On February 6, I just turned 19 and my house shook on my birthday. On my birthday, I experienced one of the biggest earthquakes of the last century in Turkey. If our building wasn't solid, it could collapse while we were inside. There are already too many buildings in Turkey that are not solid, and thank God our building was solid. On February 6, I woke up at night, went out with my family and waited in the car. Then we went to my aunt's vineyard house because it was safer. Starting the new day with an earthquake really shocked me on February 6 since because there are very few earthquakes where I live. There were two major earthquakes on February 6 and we were outside in the second earthquake. I was about to think that the ground would split in the second earthquake. The earthquake was very strong. The main source of the earthquake was the province Kahramanmaras. It saddens me that thousands of people died on my birthday. My relatives and friends are still healthy. But my boyfriend lives in Istanbul and I'm afraid because an earthquake is expected there too. Istanbul is already a region where earthquakes are frequent. I'm afraid something bad will happen to my boyfriend. My boyfriend prepared an earthquake kit. But I hope nothing bad happens to my boyfriend in Istanbul. There are houses destroyed like paper here. I'm afraid that my boyfriend's house will be like that too. I hope there will not be a very severe earthquake in Istanbul. When the Marmara earthquake happened in Istanbul, my boyfriend's house was 10 years old and nothing bad happened to the him house. But right now, my boyfriend's house is 30 years old. I will see him in real life when I start college, but I wish I could protect him every second, always be there for him.

I really thought our building was going to be demolished. Thankfully, I don't have a deceased relative that I know. And I always tell my boyfriend to be very careful with himself because I'm afraid.
