Isn't it offensive when someone says "you look Jewish"?

Does it imply you're unattractive? Although not all Jewish people look the same and are pretty diverse in looks, (there are Jews of Ethiopian, Asian, Northwestern European descent etc.) the Jewish look they're referring to is a big nose, dark/olive skin, unconventional/asymmetrical characteristics, long midface etc

When I see a guy in a YouTube video and I think there is an 80% chance he is Jewish based on his physical features, it's usually combined with a positive appraisal of their face and body. I think the stereotypical Jewish features of a Jewish guy make him way better looking than the average guy in society, I even consider Jewish men to be better looking then guys of my own Chinese culture. I'm talking about Jewish guys that you would suspect were Jewish from a face pic, not the ones that look like normal gentiles.

You might perceive this as positive, but it has been used in a negative way throughout history unfortunately, so you can never be sure of a person's
intentions, when they say thus.
Also what exactly constitutes a Jewish look? The features that are thought as Jewish can be found in many ethnicities, such as Mediterranean people, Middle-Eastern people, Syrians, Palestinians, North Africans. Jewish people have ancient Levantine and Mediterranean origin, so they look similar with these people

I've had it said to me before. It was never offensive. Why would it be?

Maybe because there's no such thing as one universal Jewish look. Anyone can have olive skin or a big hooked nose. These are features are shared by a large number of ethnicities: Persian, Mexican, Latin American, North African, Syrian, Israeli etc. So it's rude to a) Jewish people as it uses a stereotype and b) to that person in particular, as it implies they look unattractive or something
