Why does everyone on TikTok look so attractive?

I always see comments of people saying how they wish they had a Similar body to someone or face to someone, how the person's genes are better than theirs etc etc.

How is it that tiktok and Instagram has the biggest percentage of people most people find attractive?

@coolcatmar1 I am one of these that you’re talking about so here’s some insider knowledge that the everyday person doesn’t know.

After graduating high school, I was signed to a modelling agency and they decided that based on my portfolio, previous experience and my body profile (meaning height, weight, body measurements etc) that I would fit perfectly into the “glamour” branch of modelling.

A glamour model like myself mainly does photoshoots for adult magazines like playboy and for top name fashion brands.

We also often become ambassadors for certain brands. What happens is once you become an ambassador, that brand will either weekly or monthly send you their newest products to promote and influence people to buy. We use platforms like Instagram and TikTok to do the promoting and influencing. That way we can reach more people than you could by other ways of promotion. And the brands you’re working for can also see that you’re promoting their products so then we get paid by that brand.

And the brands aren’t stupid, they only make the most attractive and sexiest models brand ambassadors because they know that sex appeal makes dollars.

That’s why Instagram and TikTok are full of people that are more attractive than the average person.

Be careful with what you see on social media. Most of them don’t even look like that in real life. My guy friend told me he tried asking some of these girls out a few times. They really don’t look like that. Not only the face, they even photoshop their whole body which is why almost all of them look like a cookie cutter. I used to wonder why whenever I go out in public, these women don’t seem to “exist” and I questioned myself like am I being at the wrong place at the wrong time? Then I figured, they are around me. I just don’t recognise them because they don’t look or dress like how they do, on their social media.

also depends on the content you’re liking. If you watch and like a bunch of thirst traps of attractive people, then the algorithm is gonna show you more of those videos

I used to hate tik tok cause they would only promote videos by people in the top 1% of young and fit females and I thought it was a factory for eating disorders, low self esteem and unrealistic beauty standards in both men and woman. Now I watch cat videos on TikTok without people in it, so I like TikTok again.

Good looks can help on that, and push them ahead
a lot of them also work a lot on products to improve there looks every bit they can yo try to look better, and film it all with profisinal tools and stuff, so its basiclly a lot of fake and skeaed view you will get from how tiktak works

Ugly people don't post pictures of themselves online. What you see on TikTok, Instagram and other online apps/sites is not a cross-section of all people, it's a biased set of people who feel they are good looking and attractive.
