Yeah man, I think that's totally normal. When you're really into someone, the feelings definitely make them seem way more attractive to you physically.
But then once the attraction dies down, you kinda stop seeing them through those rose-colored glasses. Like you said, they go from being the hottest person ever to just lookin average.
I think it's cuz when we like someone, our brain releases all those feel-good chemicals that makes us think they're perfect. But without those chemicals, we see them more objectively.
It's for sure some type of love-blind thing where the emotions enhance their looks for us. Otherwise why would anyone ever go for someone so "average" once the spark fades, ya know?
So I wouldn't overthink it dude. Feelings come and go, and so does that attraction boost they give. As long as you weren't totally delusional about the person's actual looks to begin with, seems normal for the view to change along with how you feel. It's all about chemistry in the end!
Nah, for example a fine girl is a fine girl and losing attraction doesn't take away from that...
well yeah when you are attracted to someone they appear more attractive than without the attraction
