Aside from her being Mary J Blige, why is it that no man has ever loved her?

It seems like she puts her all into the relationship and does everything she can to be a good woman to her man, but they just mistreat her and abuse her.
She's always singing about what she went through and how she just wants to be loved.
I thought that Kendu would for sure do her right but it's like he did her worst than what the others did. She said "I thought someone loved me but it turns out that he was a con artist and he didn't love me at all. Now he's coming after all of my money. When you come out of something like that you realize that you were never the one. There was someone else that was his Queen, I got played" I feel bad for her.
