Too bad they’re not true, or I’d be due good fortune seeing my fortune cookie has no fortune inside and supposedly that means:
My luck, I’d get this fortune:

The same people who believe fortune coolies are also likely those who believe in astrology, numerology, manifesting, etc. also known as participants of the placebo effect. If you believe something good will happen, you’ll be in a more positive thinking space and be more aware of potentially positive opportunities and moments throughout your day. The same is true of the opposite. If they get good vibes from a fortune cookie, why not let them have it instead of giving off a kinda judgy vibe about it like they’re dumbasses to do so? At least they’re happy
Hope so, without that belief there would be no more magic no more inspiration or hope, just like evening knows there no Santa clause yet in us all when Christmas rolls around we look forward to seeing the red suited dude with the fury attitude sliding by after midnight, plus there is weird of inspiration that speaks to someone and if you don't like the fortune you received can always eat the bearer of bad news the cookie itself, you don't have to Believe it will come true but keep the hope alive in you pass it on to next generation so they can keep hope alive
Not at all. Notice most fortune cookies don't tell of unfortunate/negative things. I did have one fortune cookie that said "My television set will continue to operate without repairs for one more year", which I found really strange and kept it.
I wondered if someone knew they were going to be fired so they decided to run through a bunch of nonsensical/head-scratcher fortunes before they left. 😂
So did it come true? LOL 😂
It did, had the same set for 10 years.👌
So they are real then lmao
Fortune cookies are not popular in my country, but generalny I don't believe in such things since you can actually write anything there. If the person wants to believe in the fortune found in a cookie he/she will do It or even stretch the truth to match what happens.

No I do not, they actually upset me because most of them are not fortune cookies anymore. They are statement cookies. I used to like to read them just for fun to see what my "fortune" was, now I read and go How is that a fortune?
That’s true And same… although the fortune cookie that did have a fortune inside was an actual fortune, something along the lines of a romantic mystery LOL🤣
No!!! I only believe in cookies!
🤣🤣🤣I loved Cookie Monster… although loved Oscar the grouch more 😁😂
🤣🤣 you KNOW what I meant 😜 lol
If your message you got in your fortune cookie was something positive like "Success will be yours", then the best thing to do is take words of encouragement as empowering you to move towards achieving your goals. The danger is that you don't want to think it is fate, complacency will derail your success. But if the placebo effect helps people deal with whatever stress or lack of confidence they may feel, then I say believe it!
Hell no 🤣🤣
Last time i checked for a fortune cookie, this movie "freaky Friday" appeared out of the blue 😁
🤣🤣
I got one that was so accurate, it was scary. It said: You will be celebrated among friends or something like that and then, before I knew it, my birthday party came up just a mere 10 months later. I was shocked.
🤣🤣
.
🤣🤣🤣
Yes, I believe they exist. Not in the 'fortune' though😅
🤣🤣
I think everyone forges own fate and some text in a cookie has no more value than anecdotal one
Of course, I live my life by them, and tarot readings, and the daily horoscope.
🤣🤣
I don't believe anything I get inside a fortune cookie. They never come true.
Right!
Well it worked in the movie Lottery ticket, so who knows, maybe someday lol
How can we deny them? Especially when we realize that most of them are made in a little Jewish bakery in Brooklyn NY.
I write the messages for my fortune cookies myself so I do believe in them.
I worked at a fortune cookie factory as an assistant to the oracle. She knows her stuff and blesses almost every cookie with their rightfully owners fortune.
Your not meant to believe in them. lol Its like they have a fortune cookie religion somewhere in china. The fortune cookie started in California or something by chinese immigrants lol
Nope! Especially if you add "in bed" at the end as you are supposed to! 😀😀😀😀😀
🤣🤣
No you do know it's some Asian at a factory writing these right 💀
They are cool to read and some even to start conversations with. The vanilla cookie is better though.
Only for the company that gets rich by making them.
They're vague enough where someone can attribute them to an event after it happens.
