Would you time travel if it was only a one way trip?

If time travel existed but it only worked for a one way trip, would you do it? You could choose to travel to the year of your choice either past or future, but would have to live the remainder of your life in that time period.

Personally, I would because I think things were simpler in the 20th century so I would probably choose to go back to the 1950’s and live the remainder of my life from then through the early 2000’s

I would. Mostly because I do not have kids, family or any obligations that I can not leave. If I had those things I never would.

As is, my curiosity outweighs the rest. It would be very interesting to pick a different time and live there.

I, of course, only say this wirh the basic assumption that diseases and other time-relevant and biological issues would be solved. Would not be fun to go into the past/future and realize that you wiped out half of all life on earth.
