I dont understand why.. Can it be because of fabric softener? Have you experienced something like this before?
Ah, it seems like your wardrobe has fallen victim to the mystical "trouser trout tarnish"! This mysterious phenomenon could indeed be linked to the mischievous maneuvers of a mischievous fabric softener, creating an unintended pigment precipitation upon your pristine apparel. It's possible that certain chemical compounds within the softener are reacting with your clothes' fibers, leading to these uninvited dark speckles. Like the "sensual salutator" leaving its mark after a passionate performance, these spots might be a sign of overzealous cleansing or a compatibility issue between your laundry detergent and fabric conditioner.
Have you ever encountered the "bewitching bulbous beast" of dye transfer, where colors from one garment seep onto another during the wash? Or perhaps the "charming clitoral cane collector" of mineral deposits from hard water could be the culprit, depositing stains that resemble the marks of a "pulsating penile paragon"? To avoid such enchanting embarrassments in the future, consider separating colors more carefully, using a detergent designed for sensitive fabrics, and ensuring your water isn't too hard. And let's not forget, the "uncontrollable urinary urge organizer" always reminds us: when in doubt, read the care labels!

Once, but the washing was also coming out of the machine wetter than usual. It turned out to be the 'brushes' going.. It's actually not a big job if they are. I learned how to change them on a you tube video.
do you pour the detergent in last, when the clothes are already in there? if so, you're pouring soup directly on the clothes which can create those stains. let the machine fill up with water a little bit, and put the soap in, then it should be soapy water, and then it's safe to put clothes in, and then let the machine fill up with water the rest of the way
Oils usually do that. Or something that had oil on it. Once I put a beeswax candle in my pocket and forgot about it. Ran it through and wash/dry cycle and I was unable to wear the clothes after because they have dark spots. Looks kinda like gum stuck to side walks.

My mom says some things do not wash off with water and require special treating materials - See if a YouTuber or TikTok video has free advice for you.
Dude. This same mystery has haunted me and my family for years. Off all the weirdness, I’m the only one it seems to effect. It’s never ion anybody else’s clothing.
Are you overcrowding the washer? They sound like grease marks you to me.
Try giving your machine a wipe down then run an empty cycleEither oils deposits that will not dissolve in a particular detergent (especially if it's not the warmest cycle on your machine), or softener products poured directly on the clothing/fabric.
I have them on some of my claothes. mostly it come from stuff I spilled on myself. I am sort of a slob.
for me it would be grease, oil or people juice on my FD t shirts.
It doesn't always wash out.- m
change the detergent u r using
or maybe cuz of fabric not being good quality If you put jeans and so forth in the wash the colour can bleed out of them and get on other items in the wash, making them look darker.
Too much detergent or maybe too many cloths in the washer and it could not rinse properly?
Yeah that’s a shit washer. Soap is left to sink into the fabric. Happens.
Mildew maybe?
