If a guy says he's flattered?

a guy who used be into you but you stopped talking for afew months, he starts talking to you again, you simply 'like' one of his pics, he comes online and makes conversation and randomnly brings it up and says 'im flattered' cos you liked the photo. Does that mean he thinks you're still attractive/nice person etc...why bring it up and say he's flattered?

If he initiated the convo and made a point of saying he was flattered by something as simple & innocent as you *liking* one of his fb pics, he's definitely showing interest with his actions...now whether he just wanted to chat and has nothing more than friendship in mind, or perhaps is attracted to you & interested in pursuing something more than friendship, that's tough to say...that's where you gotta play the game to see where it goes and what his true feelings might be. You gotta decide what you want and how willing you are to go after it. Good luck.

In your case, it sounds like he's reading way too much in your "like" and is hoping you want to take him back.
