What does it mean when a girl is "comfortable" with a guy?

So this girl seems way too comfortable calling me name and things like that (playfully) and there just a special "spark" in the air when we are together (a lot of our friends mention it). The only thing is that sometimes she seems nervous around me and quiet (especilly when we are alone). I don't know what to make of it, she just seems so at ease throwing sarcasm and teasing me (we do it mutually) and we don't have this dynamic with anybody else and its great fun but I wonder why she gets quiet and acts quiet randomly towards me and sometimes she calls me annoying but if I get quiet, she'll eventually start a conversation, any idea what's on her head?

I think she likes you. Especially with the bantering, the nervousness, and starting the conversation. I don't know if she is like me, but around other people I love making jokes and being the entertainer among my friends and stuff, but sometimes it gets tiring and I really appreciate it sometimes when I can just be quiet around someone. If she is somehow like that, then you should be happy she has chosen you to be quiet around and aren't afraid to be herself around you.

The starting the conversation when you're quiet definitely shows she wants to continue talking to you and the fact that she can call you names shows how close you guys are. Plus you mentioned that you guys aren't like this without other people. That's good. And sometimes a little silence is okay too. It's probably a comfortable silence though right? Just because she is sometimes sarcastic and teasing, doesn't mean she should be like that all the time. You are probably seeing another side of her? Sorry if I have been confusing. ><

I think she likes you , And maybe when you guys are alone . You don't realize that maybe you get a little quiet to. Maybe if you talk more , When you are alone . She will feel more comfortable and talking more . The reason you guys , Have this problem alone . Is because you two like each other , And by being alone the feelings will show. She probably wants you to show your feelings first .

Its possible that she may have feelings for you. Try to do the same to her (that's if you like her or something) I didn't say like FEELINGS like she may find you more appealing or she feels safer with you than with other guys.

So in this case, which one should I assume is the "real" her? The friendly, nice and sweet towards people or the sarcastic smartass? She tells me she is the sarcastic type when she is at home but I find it hard to believe because she is nice to EVERYBODY, although her sarcasm and teasing is so good that she must practice it somewhere...
