Opinion on how to tell parents I dip and a girl's point of view about a guy that dips

Ok so I'm 19, I'm a firefighter and I've been dipping snus since March and to be honest I really enjoy it! Especially when I'm angry or on the verge or if I'm feeling a little down. Right now only thing that beats a good dip is beer ha ha snus is considered the safest chewing tobacco because of how it's made (pasteurized) now I know the risks so please don't give a lecture about it thanks :^) so my parents have no clue (still live with them) cause I never do it around them. There are times I could use a dip but can't cause I'm with them. I also feel kinda bad for keeping this from them and having to be sneaky about it :^/ but my parents have told me on several occasions not to even think about starting (before I started) so I know how they feel about it. So should I tell them I do or not? If I should how should i? Now second question girls, how do you feel about a guy that moderately dips? Would you consider dating him? If not why? eh don't tell the parents, just don't do it around them, but if you think they wouldn't care then go ahead and tell them... if my boyfriend did that I wouldn't care I have never tried it but I would like to... I would go for an all natural brand if they had one. The only problem would be its a waste of money but every one has their thing... pick your poison;) I just don't like when a guy is overall unhealthy... so make up for it by doing healthy stuff, work out and eat right, etc. There are worse things in life.. and tobacco really isn't that bad for you... just all the chemicals they add to it. It's a stimulant so its additive because you get an energy buzz and relieve stress, be aware of this and don't always rely on it, take breaks.. most people are stimulant addicts (coffee, soda, red bull, weed are all stimulants for example)

A far as your parents go I'd tell them yes, you're legal and yes there is health problems that come with it but everything we do has some side effect to it. As far dating goes it wouldn't stop me, in fact my ex boyfriend tried dip so he wouldn't smoke in front of me because I'm allergic. I preferred the dip because he never kissed me with it in and you can't taste or smell it like with smoke. But I also grew up with majority of my family smoking or dipping so I'm accustom to it.

I don't even consider guys that dip no matter how hot they are. It's just a gross nasty habit. The whole gross stuff in your mouth to the spit vessel. Plus have you ever seen pics of mouth cancer? It's rough dude. Just no.

I have been chewing for a bout 4 years now. I chew once or twice a day usually. I would therefore consider myself a moderate dipper. I made the mistake of not telling my parents for about a year and a half that I chew. They found out instead of me telling them. I feel quite guilty that I didn't tell them but they understood (eventually) I was under aged when I started but by the time they found out I was 18. If I were you I would tell them. It could potentially hurt your relationship with them but so could them just finding out. You don't have to take my advice I'm just telling you from experience how it went for me :)

You're 19 & have a mans job. Your parents will get over it. When you have the feel for a dip just do it. What can they say? MOVE OUT? I doubt it.

I do chew redman. I haven't met a girl that will turn me down for a jerk that doesn't chew. They may not like it, but is it worse (appearance wise) then a guy that smokes cigarettes or stinky cigars?

Most girls are disgusted by men who dip, it is very addicting, and I know 2 classmates (both baseball players) who got mouth cancer from dipping; one died and the other had the end of his tongue cut off to cure. Stop before it's too late.
