Not generalizing here :) just saying that if someone does want a commitment it shouldn't be mistaken for clinginess or desperation. A guy will stay regardless if he truly likes/loves her... All my relationships have never involved sex & each lasted for years. That's all I'm getting at :)

@cankles You're 39 so you should know it's not okay to shame people for their choices, if said choices doesn't harm anyone.
I didn't say it was a better option for everyone, I just said you can hookup while looking for a relationship, and it's not wrong to choose to do so. You don't HAVE to sit alone even if it's hard to find a real relationship.
