Because it isn't always about looks. Shocker, I know! There have been a couple guys I have dated that I was not that attracted to when I first met them but I got to know them and they had confidence and were funny and we got along great and they became extremely attractive to me. Everyone also has different types, even if based on just looks alone I have known women that like bigger guys or a certain race or short guys, etc. I really don't understand why it has to be so shocking if someone has a certain type that might not fit other people's expectations and it doesn't make it right or wrong. That guy she is with probably will treat her better than a super cocky, conceited "attractive" guy.
I dated a guy last year who played on our college rugby team. He wasn't fat but more like what I would call burly, like he was big with muscle and a decent amount of fat, too, but tall and handsome facially. This little guy in my dorm saw us together and actually had the temerity to ask me why I was with a fat guy. I was like, yeah, he's 6'3" with muscle and confidence, but he's nothing compared to your scrawny 140-lb ass. Guys have such fragile egos that they never will admit when another guy has something on them.

This guy no more deserves her than the man in the moon ! Clearly he does nothing to better himself. Shit, any hot guy with a minimal amount game ought to be able to blow his ass out of the water. He's such a fucking pig ! But I have seen this and I don't understand it.

Why would a person be less deserving of a woman simply because he does not have a model's physique? He could be an incredibly intelligent, accomplished, articulate, loyal and honest person. Many such people like mathematicians, physicists or other scientists are known to be less aesthetically oriented and put a lot less effort into their physical appearance.
On the other hand, a hot woman/man who's career is based solely physical attractiveness, probably isn't going to be as well educated since most of their time and effort go into looking nice. Hence the stereotype that models are dumb, which is largely true.
I would think she is attracted to this guy for his brain and loyalty.
Many men who are naturally handsome end up exploiting this trait by sleeping/cheating on multiple women. They may be hot, but they are not trustworthy. He may have game for the first few dates when trying to wow a woman, but the douchebaggery shines through after that.

A lot of women aren't visual like men are. Yes I agree there has to be attraction but sometimes that happens after their personality captures your heart. All of a sudden you become so attracted to them and everything about them is beautiful to you.

The picture with the guy with the overweight woman is a more common couple than the one with the girl, (I see overweight women with men of all sizes, but rarely the other way around) who I would say is slightly above average not hot, and that guy is also not seriously overweight like the woman was.

That's easy. There is no such thing as an "ugly guy". Women usually don't agree on what is attractive or unattractive in a guy. Some women like long hair, others short hair. Some like tattoos, others not. Some want a guy with facial hair, and others not. No matter what you look like as a guy, there are a fixed number of women who will find you attractive, and a number that won't. if you change your appearance, you'll lose women and gain others. So, advice for men: Don't change; there are women out there who want you just as you are.
On the other hand, guys pretty much all agree on what is attractive. Women tend to be more empirically beautiful to all/most guys.
That's just how it seams to me, anyway. :)

Usually the ones complaining like the YouTube comments, they're just jealous and have issues, pretty much everything they say means: "why is she with this ugly dude instead of my ugly ass?". And stupid shit like he must have money. Things like this always piss me off and what makes me angrier is that relationships end because they can't handle the harassment they get from everyone😠
