Cheating Men, The Women Who Sleep With Them, and Harsh Reality

My Takes tend to be long. I tend to be verbose. You might expect a lot going on here.

Not this time. This is a subject that, as much as it has remained troublesome for all human history, is summed up very quickly. I won't take much time, except for this caveat: Anyone can cheat, anyone can be the person sleeping with the cheater, and anyone can deny this reality. Gendering the title as I did isn't accurate, but it is concise. I could not think of a way to write a title that was ungendered, and still compelling.

My points are simple:

1) Cheaters are betrayers and should not be trusted

2) The person who sleeps with someone who is in a relationship, so long as they know that person is in a relationship, is just as much a piece of shit as the cheating person is, because they know their act is a betrayal of someone else.

3) If you are person from #2, and the person who was cheating, that you slept with, left who they were with to be with you, you didn't win. They will cheat on you. They cheated on someone else with you, they will cheat on you with someone else.

That really is it. What brings this on? Well, I don't follow much in the way of Hollywood, but this is news, and it is relevant to reality as a whole, so:

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and that stupid shit in the news. Homewreckers are treated like shit for a reason: they are shit. If you are not in a relationship, you may feel free to sleep around, but if you sleep with someone you know is committed, you are not free of guilt, and should be treated terribly. Jolie was a fucking skank and homewrecker, who knew she was hurting someone else when she slept with Pitt. Pitt is still the cheater, still the one who betrayed his wife, but Jolie deserves her share of the scorn.

Years later, what happens? Pitt, once again with a sexy costar, decides "fuck my wife and my commitment, I want pussy!" and sleeps with someone. Pitt is proven scum. But so is Marion Cotillard for sleeping with a married man, and so is Jolie, for when she did the same. Why should we feel any sympathy for her? Because she was betrayed? Fuck her, she happily took part when he betrayed his last wife.

People who cheat are scum. People who sleep with cheaters are scum. And people who form a relationship with someone who was cheating when they first hooked up deserve to feel the pain and public humiliation when they are the ones betrayed. Jolie didn't give one flying fuck when Aniston was left a broken mess and had her life fucked up, because she got what she wanted. No one should have any sympathy for Jolie. I would go so far as to say her pain should be openly mocked. She didn't care when she was party inflicting this on someone else, she deserves to be laughed at now that a poison she was once a part of has been turned on her.

I hear from where you are coming from. But you do realize that in that industry they all sleep with each other, even with the kids? That is part of getting those roles and work. People don't care or want to hear about it. All of it is staged, and is determined who they are to marry. They don't control their lives anymore. That is why they can marry multiple times and nobody is really going to care or rarely question it. I honestly could care less what they do, because that is how it works. They signed up for it, they chose that life, they wanted to do all these things, just leave it. It no longer phase me after getting duped for so many years.

As I said, while this rant was sparked by what I had read about this case, it is not, inherently, about this case, or anything in Hollywood. It is about people who cheat, people who sleep with cheaters and try to play innocent of the fact that they are also willfully hurting someone, and the reality that if someone cheated to be with you, once they are with you, there should be no surprise that they cheat on you to be with someone else.

This case showcases this, but it is a universal thing when dealing with cheaters, and that was the message of my MyTake. Brad and Angelina were the anecdote, not the actual subject matter.

@ksoma True. It is very good. Sorry I had missed the whole point even though I did read it. I just grew so tired of hearing about celebrity breakups and their relational business. But overall what you have spoken about it true.

A lot of people are selfish. That is the major culprit. This brainwashing crap about 'happiness' is out of proportions. They do anything for that to the point Happiness has also become a god of this world besides money.

It sounds more like you just got used to being cheated on, and would rather stay with a cheater than be left alone.
