Hello and Welcome everyone. You might know me but those who don't. My name is Barry Allen and I'm the fastes man---geez Call me Hal😂 Okay, so I'm gonna talk about love bombers this time. So how do I define it? According to me, it's when the person you are committed to expresses extreme love and affection and makes false promises that he doesn't even mean to stick with, congrats!! You just got yourself a love bomber lol.
Love bombing is a damn serious issue in our modern world where most of the people especially teens are in a hurry to get engaged into a relationship and the reasons are infinite including peer pressure, hormonal changes, attraction etc. So, they start searching up for potential partners. Wait, did I just say" potential partners"? Never mind! With so much going on in their life, they find someone. Now what do they do to stick with that person? They start love-bombing.
The most interesting thing is that most of the people don't even realise that they are being a love bomber. When you talk with your girlfriend about marriage, kids and future even if you know that it might not be possible, that's love bombing. When you tell your girl how much you love her while you're fantisizing of getting that girl in mall, that's love bombing. I'll run out of words if I'll try to give examples.
Well this was when you do it unintentionally. But many people do it on purpose of spoiling your life, reserving an option for them, avoiding being single and the list goes on. It is seen that most of the love bombers are narcisstic and shy- particularly someone with low self-esteem. So, you've to be careful regarding these bombers. You should first know how to spot them.
So, here are some signs of a love-bomber:
1) Everything turns out to be too fast
2) They make you feel like they are always with you and at times, become abit creepy
3) They gift you something everyday. Remember, too much is a red-alert
4) They keep telling you how lucky they are to have you
5) Their compliments seem fake and superficial
So, now you have detected your criminal, you need to break it up real quick. Try to have a talk with them but it doesn't really work in most of the cases. A person can never change his basic nature, no matter what. And if the things do cone to a breakup, don't hesitate. I repeat, don't hesitate please. You will end up hurting yourself more by staying up with him for a longer duration. You need to be strong and tell yourself that it doesn't matter how others are towards you, you'll be always there for yourself. And please please don't blame yourself for loving that person. You never know what's going on inside someone else's mind. They did it to you, you couldn't do much with it. Be brave, accept things, head up and go on.
