I'm nearly 30 and still single. Should I be worried?

I still haven't met the right one and I don't think I ever will... The thought of being alone forever makes me depressed.

I'm a 28 year old single woman.

I get a lot of attention from men now... They tell me I'm pretty. But soon that will all stop won't it?

Will I be too old when I turn 30? Will men not be attracted to me anymore?
I still want to have babies while I can too.

People suggest online dating... The only success stories I have heard of women my age meeting someone is through online dating... This makes me so depressed... Is there really noone decent and single out there is "reality"?

I've tried online dating a bit but it hasn't worked...

I fell into that trap and got serious with a guy who was a bad fit because it seemed like I "should" date him. Despite strong reservations, I let myself be convinced I was just too picky. I was getting older. I should be grateful and my days were numbered. All they bs.

We did committ and eventually seriously discuss marriage, but he ended up being a jerk who criticized and controlled me all the time. After 2 years and me becoming so worn down from his criticism that I gave up, he started dating someone else at the same time, while still talking about marrying me. All this from a guy most people (especially on places like this) would say I "should" settle down with. It crushed my self worth and sense of reality.

I say - be the best you can be, try lots of different things, push yourself into new social events, and yes, even try online dating. But don't try to force anything to work. 30 isn't the end of the world.

Me too girl. Im 21. And I feel like im destined to be single all my life. Def don't go looking into online dating. And I know tons of horror stories from that please don't do it. You never know whose on the other end of that computer. Phone. Etc. It could be a psycho killer. Someone with a disease waiting to Infect anything and anyone they possibly can bc their mad at the world. Please don't go to online dating. Sorry about the rant like I said too many horror stories. Anywho God will most def send you the right guy. Just pray about it. Don't be anxious for anything. A guy will come when you least expect it. Any guy friends you could possibly be interested in at the moment. That could work

I'm 26 and still single, in a strange way I did used to be single, I don't think on guys at all but I think because I made goals for my self and does goals don't include guys or relationship or marriage, it's Okay if you stay single it's not the end of the world if you don't have a man, life doesn't depend on man life depend on our self's.

Well... if men approach you, just go with it until you find the right one. I find women who say they can't find descent men are usually very picky, and in my opinion... scared. There are a lot of lonely men that are looking for you. You need to take the leap of faith. Men have it MUCH harder at your age... especially in the online dating department. I fully understand how you feel... I am the guy version of you;) I proudly say that I get hookers because that's just the cards some of us have been dealt. Im sure you will find somebody...

Quite honestly. Most of the guys I know, and a number of women actually. Aren't starting to settle down until late twenties and into their thirties. Because they are more education/career oriented in their early 20's.

It's more difficult being a single male at that age, to be honest, so I wouldn't worry about it. When a woman is single men are happy she's available, when a man is single women think he's a creep/loser with something wrong.
