What does it mean If a guy takes a picture with his arms around you and he clinches his fists, is that a sign they are just friends?

My ex took graduation pictures with this one guy and in every photo he has his hands clinched when putting his hands over her shoulder. I assume that couples or people who are physically comfortable would wrap their hands around you with their palms.

It is most common with not very confident guys posing with hot girls. Eager not to be the creep who feels her up taking advantage of the photo op, they hover without touching her magnificence.

haha maybe i didn't phrase it right. It was more of a hand over shoulder in a photo, but instread of having his hands over her shoulder, his hands were closed. I look at those things as unconscious comfort levels iwth the other person. I don't know i assume he isn't with her, but becuase I like her you know how the mind is lol
