That theory is bullshit. Over eighty percent of births in the black community occurred within a marriage at the turn of the last century - comparable to statistics for whites. It was during the 60's and 70's that the trend of fatherlessness in the black community accelerated towards the 72% figure we see today.

They didn't have a dad when they were growing up, so they think it's normal.
