+1 yI'm with everybody else, why does he need to carry you? I mean, I know when people are playing around or about to be intimate or on the wedding night it's very common for the man to carry the woman. But, other then that I wouldn't think there would be a reason for him to do so thus making this a non-issue. So, unless your boyfriend constantly carries you from room to room and even when you're out in public, I don't know why him being able to carry you or not would be a problem.
So, is there a specific reason you need him to carry you or is it just something you like for him to do for you? I'd like to help but I also like to understand this better. So, if you could help me understand why this is so important to you, that would be great.10 Reply

I'm pretty sure he can carry you, he just chooses not to.
He shouldn't force his physical goals down on you.
He should love you how you are.
If your weight isn't interfering with your health he shouldn't try to persuade you to
be any different than you are.
Losing weight and getting in shape should come from you.
I think you need to sit down and have a talk with him,
He's needs to cool off or he will end up ruining your relationship.
He will also instill in your mind 'insecurity' and that you aren't good enough for him.03 Reply- +1 y
I think its fair that he said that. She's implying he's weak so he had to tell her she's fat.

It doesn't get anyone anywhere. But I think people in relationships have a fixed mould of what is expected of both genders. So maybe she didn't mean to insult him but why is the guy expected to be the strong one and the girl meant to be petite and a lightweight.
656 opinions shared on Relationships topic. I'm 63kg and even the weediest of guys pick me up without a problem. You don't need to lose weight, he needs to hit the gym more! He's not strong enough but instead of admitting that, he's trying to turn it around on you. He sounds like a dick you shouldn't be with tbh.

+1 yIf he's fit and he can't carry 59kg then he's obviously just using that as a lame excuse to tell you that he doesn't like your body. I'm really skinny and 59kg is nothing to me. How tall are you? Because that is actually a fairly average weight depending on your height.

Are you cargo that needs to be shipped?
Basically the problem is gravity
Become more resistant to gravity
Otherwise, stuff your face with pizza and say fuck it.110 Reply

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, how did you lose your legs again?

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yhow tall are you? 130 lbs is fairly heavy for most women, unless you are 6' tall. I think that many men would have a hard time lifting 130 lbs at that age. I can but Im a weight lifter. A rule of thumb is that a man should be able to at least lift his own weight. A person, however is a bit harder to carry due to the awkwardness or the body and the inability to get a firm grip.
Can you lift him? You should be able to lift your own body weight too. Does he weigh more or less than you? What is his height?04 Reply- +1 y
A woman who's 6' tall should weigh between 160-185 lbs, not 130
Opinion Owner+1 yI said "UNLESS"
- +1 y
Right but even so, 130 lbs is underweight for someone that tall. I'm 6'1" and 170, and still thin at that. If this girl is like 5'5" then 130 lbs is a good weight.
Opinion Owner+1 yyes, I know. There are charts are out there. The salient point was that the guy should be able to lift his own weight

+1 yI don't think he's that fit...
OR he has some kind of a disability because anyone can carry 59kg...
So...
He sounds extremely weak for a dude... Even sounds weak for a girl. O. o
I could definitely carry you.
If this bothers you so much - go find a stronger man - in both senses of the word.10 Reply He can't carry you, because you're not a fucking child. He isn't supposed to be able to carry you.
81 ReplyYour a grown woman. Why do you need to be carried? Are you unable to move on your own?
121 ReplyThere is no point in you losing weight putting your health in danger so he can fulfil a fantasy of his. He will just have to suck it up.
20 Reply361 opinions shared on Relationships topic. You have to help him a little. One of his arms will be right where your knees bend and the other will be in the middle of your back. Then you hold around his neck and hold your legs too. Then he should be able to pick you up off a bed or something like that.

+1 yyou dont weigh too much
how tall is he? how skinny?
he obviously isn't doing something right at the gym, if he can't carry you 59kg isn't heavy at all
He obviously isn't fit enough go tell him to eat some chicken and lift heavier00 Reply
+1 ySo, OK! Lose some weight. It's not that hard as long as you have motivation and self discipline. A slight increase in exercise and changing your way of eating (NOT a diet!!) will easily lose you 1 lb a week. In 6 months that's 25 lbs! Enough?
00 ReplyWhat? 59kg and he can't life you?
Tell him to go the gym more.10 Reply
+1 yYou could always try having a piggyback ride on him instead haha!
10 Replyu r not fat generally but this depends on how tall u r... personally tbh i couldn't carry u as well, but i don't go to da gym and i weigh less than u... is yer boyfriend lighter than u maybe?

Anonymous(30-35)+1 y130lbs isn't a lot at all. He needs to buff up... or you can just use your legs...

+1 yIf he's fit and strong but can't carry you it pretty much means you're either just a taller and bigger person than him or you're fat.
+1 yWell, either you need to lose a little weight (about 10 lbs) or find a guy that stronger than him (or at least strong enough to lift you) if it's that big a deal.

I weigh 136 kg, by the way.
I thought that is nothing to complain about, carrying someone is an option but not an important thing, 59kg is good weight by the way
10 ReplyYou're basically the same weight as me and I could lift you. Sounds like an excuse, to me.
