Facebook notified me that my boyfriend removed anniversary date-but we didn't have one on there?

Facebook notified me that my boyfriend removed our anniversary date, however we never had an anniversary date listed on there. When I click on his profile I can still see it says he's in a relationship with me, but I thought it was weird that it notified me of that.

****does anyone know why it would do that? I thought maybe he adjusted the privacy of the relationship status?
