My boyfriend is an airhead Advice?

My boyfriend is so into adventurous things and being cool and awesome and I am totally the opposite. He is really attractive but there is absolutely no hamster running on it's wheel in his head it's like the hamster died or something because I am a very educated and smart person but honestly I do not like to let people know because they get mad or jealous so I switch back and forth but when I am talking to him he has no idea what I am saying so I have to say things like "Bruh, you know, dude, or just sit there and laugh". He is always working out and going kicking and all this good stuff for the body on his free time. On my free time I like to read, work on puzzles and write long essays about life. I know I sound like a boring person but I know how to have fun too. He is always trying to turn me into this surfer chick but I'm not. The other day I was working on my 1974th puzzle of the year. and he comes to my house out of nowhere like "What is that?" and takes his surfboard and messes up my whole puzzle. We ended up going surfing but I was so mad about my puzzle the whole day. He came to Biomed class one day and the teacher asked him "how do you do?" and my boyfriend was like How do I do what? and then he starts mixing chemicals because they were pretty colors and I had to stop him because he was going to set the place on fire. Everywhere I take him people say they do not like him or he is stupid, but I love my boyfriend just for who he is even though he sometimes does not understand I love him and I want to find something mutural that we can do together but I do not know what that is advice?
