Everyone thinks we're dating. Help?

So I recently went on a trip with this organization, and made a lot of new friends. I bonded a lot with this one boy, and everyone started to assumed we were dating. It got to the point that the others in the group kept telling him to ask me out, and I was pulled aside and asked if I liked him on numerous equations. I liked him- like a little brother. See, I dont swing that way and didn't feel comfortable coming out. I ended up being sort of cold to him the rest of the trip. Any advice on how to deal with situations like this?

Just dont care. Being cold to him is the worst thing that you could do, since your really mean to him.
Just keep hanging with him like usuall. Dont care about the others. If they ask you just tell them the truth, that you dont like him that way and only want to be friends.
But dont be too harsch saying it because mabey he likes you and they all know.
Mabey thats why they all keep doing it?

Just ignore it. even if you act cold they will just take it as another somsign you like them so just bond with whoever and have fun because they won't stop so then you might as well have fun. hope I was helpfull!

happens to me all the time you get used to it. and really I mean would you let yourself from having a good time because of behaviour fitting for 5 year olds? the more you react the worse it gets.

Happand to me for two years in class. We were with 15 and there was only one girl. She lived nearby and we went to school together and everybody said we were together while we were just friends. It is irritating but dont bother about it, there is nothing you can do about it appart from ignoring it.

just tell people you guys are just platonic friends. if they don't believe it then that's on them you don't have to go to great lengths to convince people of it

i was once in place of tht boy.
in my view the boy actually started feeling an attraction (only if he did) was because of his friends telling him so.
the best way is to not be cold or rude to him and continue how you were after a point he will understand (if he is smart enough ;p) that you dont like him the way he was told.
