Do I listen to other people's relationship advice about my boyfriend?

So I recently have gotten into a long-distance relationship this is my very first relationship. Well, this girl decided to give me relationship advice well to add him to Facebook and all this and that this girl is trying to break up our relationship and I need to tell him to stop talking to this girl. try
He told me that he only uses his Facebook for work and he won't keep any secrets from me. He sends me pictures of his e-mails and stuff. Also, he tells me when his ex-girlfriend tries to get back to me.
I want to trust him and I do, but this girl is making me not trust him and I don't want to have doubts.
