Last time we spoke was in January and it was when tried to get back with me and confessed his feelings but told him I have someone else. He understood that and said he wouldn't like us to continue speaking so he can finally move on (we used to be together for 5 years). Today is my birthday and he said ''Happy birthday <my name>, I hope you had a wonderful day. Stay safe :D''.

Does this mean anything? I thought he didn't want us to talk ever again?
