If those texts would wake suspicions in your partner then yes, I would consider that cheating or at least being shady
Maybe you delete them because you don't want to argue. Otherwise if you do it to hide the relationship then you're a piece of shit.
That is even worse in my opinion. Insecurity from a partner is cancer... it doesn't stop because you avoid it by deleting texts.
If it wasn’t cheating, there would be no reason to hide it.

@MeMyNameIs again it depends on the context, my Fiancé was a very jealous women, I was 100% faithful to her but if she saw some texts that looked fishy she would make a problem out of it so I would delete all texts with girls. Even some guys.

There wasn't a single day I lied to her, from the day we met to the day she died in the hospital I was and still am faithful to her. I loved her with all of my being and I still cry and I still beat my self up about it, I would never have cheated on her she was the one who saved me from that kind of life. @Nordicnerd no more like that’s my friend since you were working at your job and a female and colleague and you started working together and over a period of time we start sharing things about your household or your marriage or things that you might not be happy with or personal stuff. Any start thinking what would it be like if you were with her. Then it turns into emotional and you start dating in buying her presents or doing other things like cording. And then turning it into physical and you actually have sex with her
