What to do if I have a 2-years old crush while in a happy relationship?

2 months before being in a relationship with my boyfriend, I started developping some feelings for this guy. We kissed, but nothing more happened, he was part of my friends group. After starting being in a relationship i felt like that crush faded away, but every time we see each other I feel it again. It s confusing because my boyfriend is everything i want and need, perfectly my type. The other guy is nothing like it and i m sure i would never in a million years leave my boyfriend for him. One time i wanted to go to his place (my boyfriend's) and big surprise... this guy I have a crush on moved in the same block of flats my boyfriend lives!! How's that even possible in such a big city? And we kind of meet each other unexpectably it s frustrating.
What kind of crush is this to be so powerful?
Last summer we went in a trip with my friends and my boyfriend and late in the night when everybody wanted to sleep this guy asked me to go out for a walk. I told him "sorry, we can't" but in my mind I was upset that i couldn t go. My boyfriend doesn t deserve this and i won t do something to hurt him..
Did someone went through something like this?

I don't know what you could exactly "do", but I give you some opinions to maybe see everything in a clearer way...
First thing is: most of us change our minds while declaring what a "perfect partner" looks like. We, very often, declare to want this and that and then we fall for something completely different. Nonetheless, our perception of what we want and don't want changes also alongside with the partners we have: we "adapt" these ideals when we're in love with someone and when we break from a story. So, maybe, you think you have everything you want, but part of you wants to explore something else to see what else you could want.
Second and most important thing is: crushes are based on idealization and on the fact that the person is a bit mysterious to us, and not completely "bought". Without these 2 things, you can still love someone but you won't get that "crush" sensation. So, crushes are stupid indicators to tell you what an ideal long-term partner is, right because they're not based on something concrete. You have no clues about how he would be in a relationship, how things would match with you, how they are when they argue, what are their worst sides and how to trigger them etc. And the less you know, the more the crush can be intense. So yeah by definition the crush itself is really a stupid thing. Said that, maybe you could start worrying less about that and accept this infatuation as it is and with the right weight of it, maybe also focusing rationally on the fact that you don't know anything concrete about how a relationship would actually be, to compare him with your boyfriend.
Last thing: in long term couples it's common (if not imperative?) to face a constant reduction of the "passion". Feelings have to be transformed in something else during the relationship but that initial passion will fade anyway. Some married couples, indeed, heavily struggle with that, because after the passion is gone they actually face their incompatibilities, not anymore softened by the passion in the middle. And betrayals occurr... So maybe your crush is only directed towards this flaming passion you desire to revamp yourself after long time. But everyone experiences this need in my opinion, while being in a long-term relationship, they just ignore it.

You already been unfaithful, you've kissed a guy and therefore you've hurt your boyfriend. Do you like drama or hurting people? Yeah, your boyfriend doesn't deserve your unfaithfulness and a woman who cheat all the time and can't resist temptaion.

You should break up with your boyfriend, because you are not mature enough to be in a serious long lasting relationship. It seems like you want to party and have sex with guys. There's nothing wrong with that, but don't play with your boyfriends feelings, he doesn't deserve that. Let him go.

If you want thee temtation to disappear, don't have contact with him, no texting, no calling each other, no hooking up etc. Ignore him.

Don't act on emotions only or you will sooner or later ruin your life. Try to cut your crush out of your thoughts. And focus on your life and your boyfriend. Your crush is just a fantasy, he is not that fantasy you think he is. So don't destroy something you know is good for something that can be anything, that is more likely to end up badly.
