Dating a sweet but poor guy? When you don't know what to do?

I have been dating my boyfriend for four years now.. I want to get married, someday, he doesn't. I might want kids someday , he doesn't. I like going on vacations once in a while, we've never been. Is it normal in every relationship to feel like you're bored and to barely go anywhere? I miss not having to ask for little romantic gestures, and while he cares, he sometimes is very Spartan about it, as in, im more of a hug me type etc he isn't like that.. Were also different from the hygiene point of view , very different. He takes much less care of it.. I wonder if we are a good match and it tears me apart. I don't even know what to think or do

Im sorry, but you guys aren't a good match. Regardless of hows sweet he is , you two are just fundamentally different people. You don't want the same future, he isn't romantic, n he isntneven hygienic... you are settling. Just stop wasting your time and break up. He is not and will not give you the life you want. Life is too short to waste time. Do u want to look up in 5years and still be wanting someone or something that you could have had by now if you simply given yourself the time and chance to find it in someone else?

You have massively different life goals. I wouldn't call what you are, bored, id say you're stagnating.

You're no longer heading in the same direction, its sad, but it happens. If you can't work towards the life you want together then its time to end the relationship and find someone who's ambitions align more with your own.

just the fact that he doesn't want marriage, or kids, should be enough for you to not expect anything in the long run.

You two are not compatible. You two do not want the same thing. That should be enough of a sign that he is then NOT the one.

Yeah, but relationships like this tend to be short, simply due to both of you not wanting the same thing. It never works out in the long run.
