Is it weird that me and a friend got so close after 3 months that we consider each other brother and sister?

My friend was going out with this exchange student and when we finally met we had a great connection straight away at first it bothered him but I quickly explained that I only like her as a friend and (I told her already and she felt the same) and only a few months later when she went back to her country she wrote a letter to her friends and called me her brother and we have been calling each other brother and sister since

I wouldn't necessarily says it's weird. Some relationships develop faster than others. My friendship with my best friend (who is in my picture on the left) developed very quickly. Some relationships take a long time to develop.

I think it isn't strange, it varies from friendship to friendship. For example, we have never been very close with my friend with whom I went to everywhere we were in the same class since primary school, but there was always a get on well each other between us and my friend I knew in the 8th grade, we were very close every time, almost like siblings.

Nah. Covid will do that to people. Stuck in the same house together... nowhere to go. You either choose to like each other, or create a living hell! 🤔
