Why would a girl who rejected me say that “You will never get a girl” when A mutual friend tells her that I have girlfriend?

A mutual friend was teasing me about the girl who rejected me because I used to be obsessed with her. I moved on and got a girlfriend. and never spoke to the girl who rejected me again.

my friend was teasing me about her yesterday, and I told him that I don’t like her anymore because I got a girlfriend.
my friend went on to tell the girl who rejected me, and she responded by saying “Stop lying, he will never get a girlfriend.”

She even told our mutual friend to say that she said that.(Basically telling our mutual friend about how she reacted)

I don’t know whether this is meant to be a joke or what? I never sent my friend to tell her about my relationship status to make her jealous.

What is the meaning of this? She also stares at me when I’m not looking

I got news for you for men who choose to treat women like this. Enjoy it now while you can because that may be the only person you may have to be able to actually truly have. If she rejected you for that reason she has every right to reject you. I don't like not to obsess over me like that either because 1, they don't know me, 2. they don't respect me, and 3, you only like what they see. You know darn well while you was obsessed with her. If you're that desperate for a girlfriend, you already have one. If you saying what she's saying, it's because he's badly hurt that you would actually treat her that way. You don't even know for sure if who you were with African truly wants you or is it that she's desperate herself for a relationship. You cannot guarantee you look relationship is a little 5 unless you truly understand what you're in it for. So I think it's very clear, the person you are with it just a replacement. You're not truly happy yourself that's why you're still thinking about the person who rejected you. What you doing is wrong and what your friends are doing are wrong. And you need to apologize.

This is not a competition to see who got better or what. You need to respect your choices. You didn't do that by getting another girl. You only did what you did because you're upset that she rejected you.

No one knows that I was obsessed with her, I kept it very lowkey. All my friends only know that I had a crush on her, and when she rejected me I cut off all contact with her. It isn’t a situation where I’m always trying to talk to her…. Once I got the “no I’m busy” I took it to the Chin, and tried moving on.

I talked to multiple women which eventually led me to my current relationship. She isn’t a replacement. I don’t owe anyone an apology

The whole point in asking a women out on a date is so I can get to know her. She told me that she was busy and never showed any interest by rescheduling or making some time for me. If you are smart enough to get the hint, it means that she isn’t interested. Women rarely reject people directly, they always have an around-about way of letting you know. You just have to read between the lines.

Enforceable technically I'm a shy person. I know very well how hard it is to approach anybody. And feel rejected by people. But unlike your intentions my intentions is not to be hopping in a man's pants. I Am Naturally friendly and I like to get to know different people regardless of my introverted nature. a. Got a terrible image of you and sees you as undateable, so doesn't believe you have a girlfriend. If so, ignore the hater, no need of her negativity.

b. She's one of the "I rejected him because I wanted him to try harder" kind of people. Which means she actually did like you but was playing hard to get. Now that you have a girlfriend, she's upset cause she's lost her chance and is acting out. In this case, again, ignore, unnecessary negativity.

c. She might have been genuinely joking and there's no hard feelings. If so, don't think about it too much, it wasn't that great of a joke anyways.
