11 months over a period straddling 2013 and 2014. I was working 1100 miles from home and, because my employers wanted to make a big deadline, they begged me to work over Christmas break, so I canceled my trip home.

About 10 months.

this was originally an 8 month deployment that got extended and then decompression time in Cyprus.

so yeah definitely sucked big time.
