My boyfriend says these things, should I be worried?

Honestly I feel like he cares less in this relationship. I spend my money and buy him cute little shit. But I dont get much in return but excuses

Bills are more important than buying someone flowers also flowers die so what is the point of even wanting them also a relationship should never ever be based on how much someone spends on someone so why do you make him feel bad about not getting you flowers

the fact you expect him to spend money on you I think he should be the one dumping you because you really don't seem all that understand that he might not have the funds to afford to buy you things also when you buy someone something you should never ever expect anything in return isn't there a saying it's better to give than to receive and take

He has to work on himself, alone. We cannot change another person in our relationships. It has to come from within ones self and requires self insight. Sometimes, they see that their behavior isn't getting them what they want so they change their behavior. Much like a child. They just are adult somehow..
