It just started out of the blue tbh. We were friends for about 2 years beforehand, never been on a date and never hung out where it was just the two of us. One day he just went like, “hey I like you, we’re both single, should we just start dating?” And I said “I guess? Should I start calling you babe? That sounds dumb”.

We had a very strong foundation of friendship so our relationship was super fun, felt weird in the beginning to transition to a romantic relationship but since we were comfortable with each other we just laughed it off when things got awkward. We broke up after 6 years but he’s still one of my closest friends.

Not really, I was 20 and he was 21. It was a bit awkward bc we never hung out 1 on 1 but we used to text a lot as friends. We were comfortable with each other and that made it easy, gotta admit being lovey dovey with him was weird in the beginning but he was a hopeless romantic and very cheesy so it made things easier for me to open up to being affectionate with him
