The only person who might ry to advance this notion with a straight face is a girl who is in a relationship with a guy, she secretly had sex with a girl, and she doesn't want to admit to herself that what she has done is cheating.

There is an easy response to someone who says this. "If it's not cheating, then you don't need to do it in secret and you can tell your part all about it. . . right?"

in my opinion, that's up for each couple to decide.

For ME personally, I agree. I've dated bi-girls, and they've played around with other girls while we were together, and I was fine with it, but that was also discussed and agreed to before it happened. It was also made extremely clear that I had a zero tolerance policy with her messing around to any extent with another guy.

But that's how *I* feel, and not everyone will agree. The only thing that's relevant for that particular couple is whatever agreements and commitments they've made to each other. What I think about it is meaningless. Likewise, what someone else thinks about my relationship decisions means absolutely nothing to me - I don't care and I'm not even interested in their opinion.

Personally, my policy is that I wouldn't mind if a girlfriend of mine got with another girl, as long as I could be involved in some way (like, at least send a pic lol). In fact, in my last relationship, she did kiss some of her friends in front of me and I was perfectly fine with it; it was fun for me to watch and I was glad she got to enjoy herself and explore, too. BUT that's something to discuss and agree upon beforehand. Without that consent, hooking up with anyone outside of the relationship is cheating by default.
