I don't buy it. In terms of the relationship, if you take this statement at face value and throw out all the variables then the cheating man is betraying his partners trust in their commitment (cheating implies there is some sort of agreement). Her feelings about his "ability" to be an emotionless sex machine matter and could easily end the partnership.
If she has fallen "out of love" and is seeking a replacement then it's already over for all intents and purposes.
In both situations people WILL tend to try and hide this... The simple fact that a person hides should tell you that they know it is wrong and has the potential to end things.
Emotionally speaking being honest would be the best path as your lover is almost guaranteed to know something is up, and hiding is going to prolong the agony.
In a perfect world we would be honest and then make a decision together about what that's going to mean going forward, but there are always other things at play, stability... comfort...

Yeah I don't know who came up with those words you or someone else, but that’s so spot on. I would say that applies to the majority of girls, as a whole, and the minority of girls who “just fuck” are the ones who’d technically cheat on guys who expect more, but those girls just never cared to begin with. Either way it’s worse because the the “good guys” would be disheartened to find out their girl was disloyal and never cared OR the fact that they’re looking for someone else on a psychological/emotional I don't know fucking compatible? it will always *feel worse* for the girl who finds out her man cheats because he was probably her everything and she’ll question her worth or her beauty and could feel unsafe, and have a hard time trusting again.
Then I just had to add it- there’s always the exceptions. The percentage of rarity. Some guys may take it extremely hard and some women may not care, realizing he cheated just because of lust, etc.

Only Andrew tate and his followers would think that way. The rest of us normal people know that cheating is equally bad from both men and women.
I don't defend or support cheating by anyone. in my opinion, it's wrong, period.
That being said, generally, men can separate sex from love/romance/emotion, while women cannot. This means that a man can have sex with another woman because he wants more sex or a variation of partners, but he doesn't have to have any romantic feelings for that woman at all. For him, it's JUST sex, with no feelings, and his feelings for his romantic partner haven't changed.
When women cheat, they cheat EMOTIONALLY as well as sexually, because they can't separate the two, and most women who cheat do so because of hypergamy - they feel like they've found a "better" guy in some way, and they want to "trade up" - regardless of any commitments they've made, or the welfare of their children.
That's where this saying comes from. Again, I'm not justifying cheating, by anyone. I'm not even saying that men NEVER have an emotional connection with the women they cheat with - sometimes they do - but it's the exception, not the rule.

Yes guys can cheat more by nature and by sceince proven, now I don't belive in researchs those are for you not me, but as research are done based off of selected people, it's never for everyone but can go as far as 50-70% people,
Now don't be all sentimental and all or talk about equality here, this has nothing to do with that rather it's your chemicals in ur body OK?, now that said not everyone has the same chemical levels and or life features (for example the way ones brought up from young) there are guys who can't cheat with out loving the other girls (10%dropping) and there are girls who can't cheat with out loving the other guys (60-70%dropping)
And guys who can cheat without loving (90%and rising) then girls who can cheat with out loving (30-40%and rising)
Now this is not a research but a sample so u know what's happening and how it is, its in men's nature because of how we were built but its wrong and females don't have this package by default but based on the way the world is changing, both male and females are getting to like that,
Men who can't cheat and not love is not that they can't do it, it's that they know its wrong to and choose to be disciplined, but like I said,

It’s shitty either way. The real differentiator is how men vs women REACT when they confess or worse get caught.
In my admittedly sexist biased view I have observed that women often try to gaslight and self justify cheating more often than men do. Their egos can’t accept what they did vs men who are taught by society to take responsibility for their actions.
Men either:
1) just own up to being a POS and accept the consequences. They don’t feel “guilty” but they don’t try to self justify it either. They don’t care about their reputation. They don’t really care about a destroyed relationship. They will keep thinking with their Ds

Anyway men almost always cheat out of lust. They don’t do it to “get back” at their wives/gfs for making them upset for other reasons.
Cheating is cheating whoever was it a man or woman. Yet what can tell that a woman cheating is worst than a man cheating up to me is that the fact that men are always looking to please their sexual needs more than women do.. if his wife/girlfriend is not taking care of him ofc he 'd look for another to satisfy those needs and it doesn't last long (in most of cases) despite what they did they still love their girls and they go back regretting it and begging for forgivenss.. Yes. But beyond that if the guy is traditional in any way he gives more benefits to his woman than he gets back from her so that also makes it worse. That said, it's silly for people to be unmarried and then surprised that something goes wrong in a long term relationship. For eons of human history people got married. To think that someone who can't bother to make the ultimate commitment to you won't cheat on you is foolish. It's more likely they'd cheat than that a wife would cheat --- even tho sure, some wives cheat too.
Cheating is just as bad for both. The only difference (in my opinion) is that we (ladies) have more to worry about. Both sides have to worry about STD's. We have to worry if a mistake happens and we get pregnant while cheating. Our first relationship would leave and the one that we cheated with can't be trusted completely. End result could be a pregnant girl alone with a reputation of being a cheater making it even more difficult to find a good relationship than it normally is for a single mom.

Without peeking at comments below, I don't know, that's a good question? I might say based on my own experience sometime after the 2000s slowly women started to cheat more. But to ask which is worse, ... I'm trying to frame from saying both are equally bad..
In context to what makes cheating bad.. it's pain issued to the other. Men take cheating harder. So in the current time it's worse. I would have to research but taking a quick snap guess during the 1800s it might have been worse if men cheated. I think it depends on which gender has 'it better' in finding new partners.

I know this sounds biased for me to say because I’m a guy but hear me out.
It’s worse when a woman does simply due to the fact that usually it is the man that requests or brings up the idea of having sex to a woman.
That being said, that would mean another man would go up to the woman and not only flirt but also mention having sex. So if it happens not only did she accept the flirtatious advance but also the sex afterwards.

A guy can cheat and have zero emotion for the person he is screwing. He cheats because he wants sex or is horny. A woman cheating is more of an emotional level. I’ve even heard women say it, man are controlled by their dicks. If a woman cheats, it means she really doesn’t like her current partner. Also there is one other factor to women that is pretty sinister. A lot of women have gotten pregnant by other men and fooled their partner into believing the baby is theirs. Such a disgusting thing. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. If a man gets some girl pregnant, there is no hiding it.
Cheating is cheating and this viewpoint assumes men can't cheat for love when they definitely can and have. Sex might be at the forefront for most guys, but we're not all copies of each other and can feel a diverse set of emotions. Vice-versa: women can cheat for sex too and do. Cheating altogether is problematic for any relationship as it betrays trust and destroys emotional bonds. Trying to assign order of magnitude to a breach of trust is pointless.
I've said this before on numerous other questions as well and I'll gladly say it again; cheating is disgusting for both genders regardless who does it, and no, there's no one fixed reason why a woman or a man may cheat and whatever it may be, it's still inexcusable and unacceptable behavior.

Not sure which is worse a woman cheating with a guy and possibly getting pregnant or a guy cheating and possibly getting another woman pregnant. While a woman can get pregnant once at a time there can be multiple women pregnant at the same time from the same guy. In the end cheating is wrong and more times than not hurts the person you're with (boyfriend/girlfriend, fiance/fiancée, husband/wife).
