Have you ever been friends with a couple and knew one was cheating? Did you say something or stayed quiet?

my situation isn’t exactly how I worded the question but whatever. I’m cool with all 3 people involved, I work with all of them. Person A and B are dating and person C is messing and talking to Person B.
I hate cheaters and I feel like guilty knowing that Person A is being cheated on, Im not super close with him or anything but he’s a super nice person and I feel really bad for him.
Person C is someone I've known for a while, i used to be good friends with his brothers. Now both of his brothers have beef with me and one tried to fight me so if I say something, all 3 of them are gonna jump me or some shit 💀 I have enough high school ass drama with that family and I don’t need anymore. Im surprised Person C is friends with me considering his brothers hate me lmaooo

I also forgot that person C also has a girlfriend lol
So now only is he homewrecking someone’s relationship but he’s a cheater himself. He’s been telling me for a while that he’s been unhappy and he’s not attracted to his girlfriend anymore. He’s been trying to break it off and tell her how he feels but she freaks out and he feels guilty breaking her heart or something
Today he said “I just realized that maybe IM the drama” like you think? 😭

It’s totally natural if someone is nice to you while their siblings hate you simply because everyone has their own personality and beliefs.
Even under one house you could find that one sibling is good to one but horrible to another one 🤷 it’s what they choose and how they feel, and no one can judge them unless they understand the story behind all that.
Anyways, to me I would never keep being friends with someone I know is a cheater and I would rather stop dealing with them ASAP. Because that’s the worst behavior on earth and as they cheat on their partner they can easily get me into problems.
But I wouldn’t tell anything to the person who is being cheated on: 1st of all because he wouldn’t believe their partner and friend cheated on him, and I will be just someone who is trying to mess up their relationship.
2nd, I will be in big trouble that they all three of them will be gathering against me and I will have hard time wherever they are.
3rd if there’s no evidence of proof that he will see them both cheating on him directly telling him will be a big mess for all four of you.
That’s what I believe in.

I did, logically thought I would hate for that to be me so when I seen it happening I made sure to inform the individual of the significant other of his and how she would appreciate certain advances he was doing, and he said certain uncharacteristic things towards me that's what I said f*** it let him do what they do see what comes of it the next time I see him he was with his girlfriend, an I and my fiance sat around me abnormally being quiet they asked what's the matter that's when I looked at my fiance inside what was needed to be said the guy and how I didn't appreciate him doing that in front of me when she wasn't there I'm trying to say I was lying, so open handed, I smacked him, at that point he tried to get physical so I picked them up slammed them on his coffee table put my knee and his chest and throat and told his girlfriend absolutely everything that happened that night, when he passed out I got up and had me fiance go start the car while I apologized to the girl who at the time was, done dirty and disrespected! She thanked me for you know then I left last I saw was approximately 5 months later I guess she left him that night and was currently engaged but somebody that actually seem to be dignified and appreciated her as a man should appreciate his partner / girlfriend / fiance/ wife...
Remember kids all women are princesses!!!, And without them you would not be alive!
Respect should be mandatory!

Yikes. It’s never a pretty situation when someone you know is being cheated on. I know it’s tempting to swoop in and play the hero but you have to really weigh your options. Like with guy C, even though you’ve had your issues, it sounds like he’s actually more of your friend. So maybe a considerable route would be talking to him and telling him it’s wrong, giving him the chance to shape up. You’d also lose him as a friend if you went straight to guy A (who it doesn’t even sound like you’re close with), and probably get jumped and I don't know how worth it that would be. Still I understand sympathizing with guy A, so overall I’d say do what feels right for you. There is no clear cut right or wrong when it comes to sharing the information. If you decide to however, do it face to face and be sure to have evidence, not just a “take my word for it” approach because she can easily talk her way out of it, you’d lose a friend, get beat up and that would just suck all around.

Yes I have and I told them about it as soon as I could.

I also found out a a then friend was cheating on her boyfriend, a man who I wasn't really fond of and I still told him.

Honesty is key, but only when asked upon. There’s a good chance that Person A could not believe you, or that A and B decide to stay together after working through it. Either way in that instance both A, B and C end up disliking you, and then you’re the enemy. I’d just keep it to myself unless I’m brought into it. Either way just don’t push the subject and let people work through their drama on their own, it could backfire.

I have seen this type of thing at work as well. We stayed out of it for the most part, but a few people at work anonymously tipped off person A... so I’d you really feel the need to help out person A, I’d figure out a way to get some kind of tip to him anonymously, otherwise just sit back and wait for a train wreck, because it eventually will happen

and she also knew already, that he was a known cheater, and cheating on her but she was in some sort of denial for whatever reason, so no... not my business nor my wish to get involved on that kind of drama because it wasn't my drama...

Personally I would stop being friends with Person C, but I wouldn't tell Person A unless I was friends with him.
If you do tell Person A, make sure you do it anonymously

Its a area that should be kept out of. There are so many unknowns.
I have had girlfriend whos partner was a control freak, and she got to know this other guy to getaway away from the first. She managed to do it and is a lot happier now.
