How do you know if a calm and confident girl is interested?

There are a few girls that I know who can treat and talk to everyone in almost the same way.

They also do things for everyone that usually only a girl who is interested in you would do and doesn't mind going out to dinner with just two people (no, she is not a slut). Compared to shy girls, it's very difficult to tell who they are interested in.

I saw a video where a girl was saying that she was disappointed when a guy she thought was interested in her, found a girlfriend after a few months. She said that she treated all the guys (including her love interest) the same and would go to 1-on-1 dinners with them. The only exception was that she allowed her love interest to touch her.

The other speakers who were there told her that she should have been exclusive otherwise the guy will think that she treats other guys the same way.

I'm that kinda girl and with me there is always going be something a bit different than how I am to everyone else like I asked a guy I liked if he'd like to come to hang out with my family which I don't do with just anyone but I guess he didn't like me because he declined so I continued trying to get his attention and wow what an idiot I was but anyways I talked to him constantly and more than I do anyone else I saved a seat for him when we went to the same place and yeah stuff like that there's just always gonna be something different than with everyone else

Interesting. To be honest, assuming you and that guy were not in a relationship at all when you did all these things:
1. As the guy, whether or not I am interested in the girl, I would have declined hanging out with a girl's family either way, unless I am in a relationship with the girl. I believe most guys would agree, that meeting a girl's family can be daunting and we would avoid meeting them if possible.
2. If a girl saved a seat for me, I would only think of her as thoughtful, but wouldn't think she is interested in me.

You only date one at a time but you can have multiple friends but the issue is, guys will assume it’s a date when they like you, even if you intend it purely as a friendship event, I’ve had guys I didn’t even know liked me tell people we went on dates together.
