He told me he wanted to go out tomorrow, but his friend told him that he’s coming back tomorrow from a trip abroad and he’ll be going out with him. I feel kinda bad , like he would stop his plans with me for his friend. What do you guys think? Am I overreacting?

How long have you been dating? If it hasn't been long, and this is an old friend he wants to reconnect with, I'd be happy for him and let it go.

You could propose all three of you go out together at a later time so he can connect with both of you and you too can get to know the friend. Please consider how long he's known this friend in relation to how long he's known you.
