My boyfriend has been on his phone the whole day today from morning to evening while I was there with him. I told him I’m upset and he said that I like to sulk for no reason and always try to argue with him (all because I care about his attention). Last week he told me he’s sorry for not giving me the emotional support that I need and that he’s always on his phone and today he did it again. So I asked him whether it’s that boring spending time with me? He finally told me today that “it’s boring. We hug and cuddle and then what? There’s nothing to talk about”. My heart sank. He said he tried ( I didn’t see him trying). I said I could be happy with just laying next to him and talk about random topics but he never seem to be interested other than his phone, watching TikTok videos like dogs or valorant and he would show me but sometimes it’s just too much, I wanted to spend time with him not watching those stuffs with him all day. When he finally said that, I started to question him even more and he went silence and said he wanted to be left alone. When things started getting to a point like this he always ran away. I told him I feel stuck now and that I can’t picture which path our relationship is going to anymore. He’s really good to me but maybe sometimes things that go well together can’t always work out. He knew so well we both need reassurance, especially me but nowadays it’s only me. Though, he started acting like me needing reassurance is sulky and causing problem just because I asked for him to pay attention to me. Maybe when we started dating he started becoming carefree and careless. I’m feeling very lost and numb.
