If men don’t want a girl long term they’ll generally be upfront about it and tell them they just want friendship but girls go and mindlessly interpret that as they want to date them where as women will actually do the whole relationship song and dance and even tell guys they’re not interested in that they love them etc. just what I’ve observed tho.

There are thousands of girls waiting and hoping their boyfriend of 5+ years will propose to them. Most never do and end up breaking up eventually. Carry on though.
