Caring for a guy?

If she's always caring over a guy? I know this girl who my friend went on a date with and he has being awful to her because she doesn't chase him when he leaves her on read. But she on the other hand is weird. My friend said he felt really cold and out of blue, she texted him to keep warm. He told her he wasn't well and had cold and she was like he looks really tired, if he's fine in person and she also texted him , asking how he's feeling, asking him to drink hot teas etc. Even though he acts passive aggressive with her when she doesn't do what he wants, she continues to keep communication open with him. I dont know why she does these things when he hates her?

The guy i went on a date with saw me with a guy and is acting cold. he was again being all smiles and nice before he saw me when we chatted and he told me he was going to meet his friends girlfriend and he told me he was going to meet someone.
He asked me where I'm going and I told him I was going to get earphones.

Later on I saw my guy friend and we walked together. And while he was with the girl, he saw me with the guy friend.

After a week when I met him, he looked annoyed again and wouldn't talk to me in his own. I stood there and there was an awkward silence when he started talking. He was also looking pretty annoyed and when we were discussing the building closure due to bank holiday, he said the building is closed but I told him that student study space is open. To which he said " I will check if that's true".

His overall demeanor was not good and he gave me a fake smile too.

I dont know why he's acting like that. I feel as if he thought i lied to him about hetting earphones when i was going to neet a guy friend which isn't true. I bumped into my friend, i didn't go to meet him.

Is he not interested or jealous? He's tried to make me jealous in the past

I dont know. She came to our uni and he was with her but they were all friends together from before. I dont know if the friend knows but I do know that she was part of his group, his friend, another friend and her.
