What are some reasons why you could forgive someone who hit you?

If there is one of course, or is it something unforgivable
It does not have to involve your boyfriend or girlfriend

When it's my fault. Or they apologise. But it's all very subjective. The less I like the more I am gonna be incline to not forgive an apology then if it was my fault we need to both apologise to each other.
Just taking responsibility goes a long way to forgiveness.

I'd say if enough time goes by and they've changed than it's all good. It's bad to hold a grudge but it's good to be honest with how you feel.
