My boyfriend isn't okay with me going clubbing, but he goes because he says it's different for girls and guys. Is it true?

My boyfriend (he's 19) told me he doesn't want me to go clubbing or out to bars for multiple reasons but he says it's different for guys, allowing him to go out. I'm 17 so I've never gone clubbing but we were talking about for the future.

Some of the points he's made:

- If I do go out, "You're not attracted to me anymore" , "Deep down you think you can do better", "You don't respect me"

- I can't protect myself in a club from other guys.

- His words exactly from a text: "A girl that is seriously in love, does not care about these things, and doesn't find a reason to go clubbing Juuust like You. It doesn't exist for guys, we don't have that thing, we're not 24 7 wanting to hang around our SO. Also there's the respect thing too"

- "Girls dont want to go clubbing if they truly love their boyfriend." - his words from a text

- "You shouldn't want to go" - his exact words from a text

I did argue back with him but he keeps saying that it's different for guys so none of my points are credible.

Now I'm not a clubbing type of girl and Im MORE than happy staying at home, but I'm not comfortable with him going to clubs if I'm not allowed to. The ONLY time I'd go out is with friends but he wouldn't let me go anyways, but if it was him in that situation he would go out.

I wanted to know what your opinions are on this please and if this is wrong.
