I caught my girlfriend sending nudes to another guy and we’ve been together for almost a year now and I don’t know why she was sending them to another guy. We got together in October and she started sending them in November and stop in June. I treated her the best I could and I don’t know what to do. So advice and help would be appreciated.
It is up to you if you want to break up with your girlfriend or not. I, however, would dump my SO in a heartbeat if I ever found out that he had been cheating on me.
It is a COMPLETE betrayal of trust. You treated her the best you could, and yet, she went ahead and cheated on you. Not to mention, wasted your time, energy. I cannot, in my good judgment, ever stay with a man who does not have even an ounce of respect for me or our relationship. Sending nudes to other men or women, when you’re in a relationship is wrong. It is as bad as cheating because it IS cheating. Even though she did not physically do anything with others, she still went behind your back and got emotionally involved with another man. It could be termed as “emotional cheating.”
You deserve way better than her. I do not know anything about you, your partner or yo ur relationship, but I do know that one should never reconcile with or tolerate a cheater. Once a cheater, always a cheater. These types of people will almost never change. Even if you guys decide to stay together, how could you possible still trust her? That’s the point. You can’t. Without trust, the relationship will be in crumbles. It’s over. Even if she shows remorse, or regrets her decision, remember that it was her conscious choice. Break up with her and do NOT go back to her. Do not fall for her crocodile tears or silly excuses. There are always other, better fishes in the sea. You know, fishes that won’t cheat on you?
I would break up with her because of it. If my partner did that, he'd be gone. That is a complete betrayal of trust. It doesn't matter if they never physically did anything. That is what I would consider emotional cheating. She was emotionally involved with another guy on some level.
Not to mention she completely disrespected you and your relationship. This wouldn't even be a question or consideration for me if someone did that to me. That would be immediate breakup and no chance of reconciling.
I don't think I could ever trust someone again that went behind my back and sent intimate photos to another person while we were together. That would just be too much for me, personally, to handle.
Trust is one of the most important parts of a relationship, along with respect, communication, etc. She broke just about all of those in one way or another. I think it is best to move on because people that do that typically do not change, no matter what they say. Sorry to hear about it.
Break up bro, don't mention that that's the reason, just say that you don't feel about her the way you used to before and that you hope there are no hard feelings and move on, leave with your integrity and head held up high or wait till she cheats on you some day
